We hardly realize just how much science and technology have become intertwined with our daily lives. Why do ice cubes float in water? Why do mosquitoes like to bite some more than others? This blog is an opportunity to parse that out. To create a dialogue between scientists and non-scientists, and serve as an outlet to discuss political science issues.
I hold a PhD in microbiology and BS in entomology. My work has focused on finding ways to reduce the populations of insects that transmit infectious diseases like Zika, dengue, or leishmaniasis. I am passionate about all things science, politics, and my dog, Iggy.
I am always interested in new challenges and meeting people. Reach out to me on LinkedIn to connect.
